I received Miss Jessie's Value Pack from a friend to try out on my now natural hair. I'm on day two and I must say that I really enjoy the "The Curly Buttercream". I haven't had a chance to use the "Curly Puddings", the way it was suggested in the directions but using a water bottle and then applying the product seemed to work just as well. After I use the " Rapid Recovery" deep conditioning treatment I will give a full review on all of the products within this value pack. My Curls Are Poppin!

How do I get my Curls to pop for under $2?!

I cowash my hair using Suave Naturals Conditioner. I rinse once and then reapply the conditioner without rinsing a second time. I take a large tooth comb and distribute the conditioner evenly throughout my hair. After that, I smooth each section of my hair with my hand to remove excess product. The last step is the most important step, shake your head like you want it to fall off of your neck and roll onto the floor! Shake it like a rock star! Allow your hair to air dry and you will have well defined curls that are soft bouncy and long lasting for under 2 dollars!

I will always cherish the memories of Micheal Jackson. He was my first crush! Please continue to pray for his family, friends and mourning fans. Love him or hate him he will always be the greatest musical icon that ever lived! He changed many lives and his music was well loved and respected all over the world. Thank You Micheal!

Emergency Plastic Bonnet for Rainy Days

It's rained for 19 days straight in Pennsylvania. Yesterday I took the kids strawberry picking. As we got closer to the farm rain mist turned into rain drops. I started to feel anxious because I just flat ironed my natural hair the night before. Then I remember my handy beauty kit that I store underneath the passenger seat. In it, I found my old trusty plastic rain bonnet . I took a large hair pin and secured my hair up. I then tied my plastic bonnet and was ready for some strawberry picking fun!
